Get involved!
There are lots of ways to get involved with Senator On-Line (SOL) and there will be even more as time goes on.
- You are welcome to join discussions on our facebook group (already more than 600 members strong!) We also have a myspace page.
- SOL is entirely dependent on volunteered time and money, so we welcome donations.
- And we encourage everyone to join our email list.
- Finally, as the next election approaches, we will need supporters to let people know about SOL.

1895 - Women over 21 years first allowed to vote.
1906 - Postal voting available for the first time.
1949 - Aboriginal people allowed to vote at Federal Elections.
1998 - Introduction of computerised scrutiny of senate votes.
2001 - A virtual Tally room on AEC website.
2007 - Senator On-Line becomes Australia's first political party offering citizens the possibility to vote directly on Senate bills.
